Owning great wine is one thing. Storing it in a worthy setting is quite another. A wine cellar isn't just storage. It's a signature space. A place where each bottle finds its place, its light, its ideal temperature.
At Innova-Signature, we design bespoke wine cellars for collectors, discerning enthusiasts, exceptional hotels, and fine dining establishments. Design, technology, emotion: the trio that transforms a wine cellar into a centerpiece.

Why a custom-made wine cellar rather than a standard piece of furniture?
A prefabricated wine cellar unit provides storage. A custom-built wine cellar tells a story. It complements the architecture of your home. It enhances your collection. It creates a visual narrative. It becomes the room you show your guests even before the living room.
The limitations of the standard:
Fixed, non-scalable capacity
A generic storage system that doesn't value either formats or vintages.
Industrial materials, impersonal aesthetic
No architectural integration
Custom-made solutions lift each of these ceilings.
Technical parameters not to be overlooked
A wine cellar is, first and foremost, a machine. Variations in temperature, humidity, and light degrade the wine. Our approach integrates each parameter from the design stage.
Constant temperature: 12 to 14 °C, variation less than 2 °C over the year
Humidity: 65 to 75%, to preserve the cork
Darkness: total UV filtering, cool LED lighting without harshness
Ventilation: air renewal to prevent mold and unpleasant tastes
Sound and thermal insulation: high-performance formwork
No vibrations: decoupled structure, quiet air conditioning motor
Each cellar is designed as a technical and aesthetic organism.

Aesthetics: the codes of contemporary luxury
True luxury is discretion in the service of beauty. Our preferred materials:
Solid wood: oak, walnut, steamed beech or high-gloss lacquer finish
Glass doors framed in matte black steel or brushed stainless steel
Adjustable temperature LED overhead lighting
Natural stone floors, engineered wood flooring, polished concrete
Exposed stone walls, glazed tiles, metallic finishes
Each cellar becomes an architectural signature. We collaborate closely with interior designers to create a dialogue between the cellar and the DNA of the place.
Organization and staging
Individual lockers, inclined shelves, magnum display, tasting tower, central table, bench, wine library. The cellar becomes a living space.
Four typical configurations:
Apartment wine cellar: 300 to 800 bottles, fully integrated
Villa wine cellar: 1,000 to 5,000 bottles, dedicated room with scenography
Professional wine cellar: hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, guard rooms
Wine cellar-gallery: on display, visible from the main room, monumental display cases
How much does it cost?
A custom wine cellar project starts at around €15,000 excluding VAT for a compact configuration. Signature projects reach €200,000 excluding VAT and more. The budget depends on the surface area, materials, equipment (air conditioning, home automation, security) and architectural complexity.
Investing in a custom-built wine cellar is investing in a living asset. The increase in value upon resale is real, often exceeding the initial cost.

Stage lighting: a detail that defines a wine cellar
A wine cellar doesn't need a lot of light. It needs the right light. Backlighting behind the bottles, adjustable spotlights on the magnums, recessed LEDs on the shelves, soft lighting on the tasting table. We calibrate the color temperature (a warm 2700 K) and the intensity to highlight the labels without overpowering the wines.
